Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Access Management in MILAN, MO. You will staff entry points, verify access, issue visitor credentials, and support visitor and employee flow at a food and beverage location.

You will monitor, respond to incidents, and conduct patrols to maintain a welcoming, secure environment. As a Part Time role, you can build a flexible schedule and benefit from allied tools to claim additional shifts, with emphasis on customer service and integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Screen and direct inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements and applicable security-related procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
