Allied Universal, West Deptford, NJ, is seeking a Part-Time Access Log Reconciliation Security Officer. You will manage site entry, verify badges, monitor access points, and support a secure environment at a chemical/petrochemical location.

The role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and detailed reporting. Part-time schedule with a fixed 2–6 PM window, Monday through Friday. Compliance and safety are core priorities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel, contractors, and delivery drivers according to site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Prepare accurate reports and records for access-control activities, incidents, observations, and required shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
