Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorized access, document arrivals, and communicate access-related information to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and follow established procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of community grounds, common areas, and access points to identify unusual activity.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access-control records per requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorized access, document visitor and vendor arrivals, and communicate access-related information to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, perimeter locations, and access points to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming residential environment.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access-control records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
