Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time HOA Access Control Security Officer in Lake Forest, CA. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and provide welcoming service to residents and visitors in a residential community.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents and visitors, maintain visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Document observations and access-control activity accurately and communicate with site management.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 08:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 08:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 08:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 08:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents and visitors, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
