What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor records, and direct guests and service providers in accordance with community requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entry points, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or access-related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
