Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services company, seeks a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Gainesville, FL. The role offers flexible hours, anchored shifts, and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform while earning a base rate of $15.83 per hour.

You will maintain access control, monitor entry points, and support incident response, with a path toward full‑time opportunities through paid training and development.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage distribution location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to access‑control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, docks, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document daily activities, access‑control events, unusual occurrences, and incident details in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Control in Gainesville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.83 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
