Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Gulfport, FL. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Operations in Gulfport, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift you reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site‑specific access control procedures and security‑related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and direct guests in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to access concerns, resident requests, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Communicate relevant observations and incidents to site leadership, residents, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
