Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Point Comfort, TX. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts, providing flexible hours and opportunity to earn more while supporting site access procedures at a chemical and petrochemical location.

Ideal candidates will have customer service experience, a TSA‑issued TWIC, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The position requires background checks and a drug screen where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorisations, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and communicate access concerns through established reporting channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, entry lanes, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access, unusual conditions, and/or policy concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Authorization in Point Comfort, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
