Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by enforcing site access control and emergency response procedures at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, issue access documents, and maintain access records.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies calmly and follow site procedures and notify responsible contacts.
• Conduct patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeters, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report access concerns, violations, hazards, and unusual conditions per site policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Identity Validation in Point Comfort, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access‑related records.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security‑related concerns, access violations, hazards, and unusual conditions according to site‑specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A TSA‑issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
