Armorous is hiring a Security Officer for housing complexes in Santa Rosa, CA. The role focuses on safeguarding properties, deterring crime, and maintaining peace across residential communities and facilities.

Shifts are overnight (22:00–04:00) across Thursday to Sunday, totaling 24 hours weekly with potential for extra shifts. Compensation is $21 per hour, with weekly direct deposit and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card is required.
• BSIS compliance (initial 8-hour training and 32-hour CE) is required.
• Customer service and professional demeanor are essential.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Position/Titles:

• Security Officer for Housing Complex

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are responsible for completing tours and hourly activity logs. Officers spend most of their time at one of two desks, with a lot of foot traffic, and are mainly responsible for keeping the peace.

Shifts:

Thursday - - - 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Friday - - - 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Saturday - - - 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Sunday - - - 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM
**6 HOUR SHIFTS**
(Total of 24 Hours Per Week) Plus opportunity for additional shifts.

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Security GuardQualifications:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current with BSIS Compliance
  • i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
  • 32-hour continuing education certificates
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
• Graveyard experience preferred
