Armorous is seeking a Security Officer for a construction site in Berkeley, CA. You will conduct hourly patrols, manage access control, and deter threats to protect property and people. Strong observation and communication are essential to handle incidents and document reports.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card is required.
• Current with BSIS Compliance.
• 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate.
• 32-hour continuing education certificates.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Graveyard shift experience and vigilance at night.
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Remain alert, responsive and proactive in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Check IDs of all incoming patrons.
• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergencies.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team regarding security updates.

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are responsible for conducting hourly tours, ensuring the premises is secure. Access control when checking in and out guests to property, and checking all entrances and exits.

Wednesday - - - 11:59 PM - 7:00 AM
Thursday - - - 11:59 PM - 7:00 AM
Friday - - - 11:59 PM - 7:00 AM
&
Saturday - - - 11:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Sunday - - - 110:00 AM - 7:00 AM
37 Hours Per Week

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
