Allied Universal in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Visibility. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access and verify authorized entry; direct visitors and deliveries per procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following escalation and reporting protocols.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and directing visitors and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while communicating relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
