Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for unarmed route patrol in Jeffersonville, IN. You will provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors while performing site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.

The role involves regular patrols, monitoring access points, documenting activity, and responding to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, damaged property, access-control issues, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
