Job summary

Allied Universal® Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Patrol Operations to protect client sites across Logistics & Distribution.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, report concerns, and assist customers with a professional, courteous demeanor. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, training opportunities, and access to our perks program. Daytime and overnight shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required
• Drug screen required
• Licensing requirements may apply
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at client sites by following site-specific security procedures and, when needed, assist with emergency response.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle/visitor activity; report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications per Allied Universal requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe inbound and outbound vehicle and visitor activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
