Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal/state/local laws.

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to identify and report hazards or unauthorized access.
• Monitor location access, verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures, and maintain visitor/patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Protect telecommunications equipment and restricted areas by observing activity and reporting policy violations or maintenance concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with protection of telecommunications equipment, technology assets, and restricted work areas by observing activity and reporting policy violations or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
