Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, including interior, exterior, parking, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, access concerns, property damage, and maintenance issues; report observations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in required reports, logs, and electronic systems.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Greencastle, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor for unusual conditions, access concerns, property damage, and/or maintenance issues, and report observations according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.


• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in required reports, logs, and/or electronic reporting systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.


• CPR Certification is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
