Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Greencastle, IN. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with six-month commitment and the option to pick-up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring, incident response, and reporting. Ideal candidates have HS diploma, basic security experience, and the ability to obtain licenses and pass background checks. Pay rate is $18/hour.

Qualifications

• Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, employees will undergo a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, employees will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial location following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual conditions and report observations per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, contact site contacts or emergency services as needed.
• Document patrols and incidents in required reports and logs.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Greencastle, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, access concerns, property damage, and/or maintenance issues, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in required reports, logs, and/or electronic reporting systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
