Job summary

Master Security Company, LLC is seeking a part-time security officer to protect client assets and personnel in a Maryland assignment. You will patrol, document incidents, and enforce site rules with professionalism and courtesy. The role requires reliable transportation, ability to pass background checks, and a valid MD Guard Card.

Training is provided, and shifts include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekends. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to stand

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Reliable transportation (Public transportation will not be considered).
• Cell phone for contact by Operations.
• No felony arrests or convictions on background.
• Must obtain MD Guard Card.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods or lift.
• Familiar with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones).
• Valid full driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Keep a daily log of all activity at the assigned post.
• Document all incidents in a detailed incident report.
• Perform walking and vehicular patrols during shift.
• Enforce customer rules in a professional manner.
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform at post.
• Interact with the public; convey information clearly.
• Assess emergencies quickly and respond appropriately.

Job description

We have developed a set of criteria we expect our security officers to meet to both serve the customer in the best possible way, as well as give our officers the best chance to succeed for the duration of their employment. The criteria are as follows:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to legally work in the US
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must have reliable/working transportation (Public transportation Will not be considered)
• Must have a cell phone to be contacted by Operations Supervisors
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions
• Must be able to obtain MD Guard Card
• Must be able to perform the duties as stated in post orders, which may require standing/walking for an extended period or lifting
• Must be familiar with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc.)
• Must have a VALID full driver's license, public transportation will NOT be considered

DUTIES/WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
