GardaWorld Security Services U.S. in Charleston, SC is seeking a Tactical Security Officer. You’ll patrol varied environments, read surroundings, identify risks, and respond decisively to incidents to protect people and property.

This role offers a 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule, a $19.25/hour wage with DailyPay, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) with employer matching, PTO, holidays, disability and life insurance, plus uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have previous security experience.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.
