GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Tampa, FL. The role involves patrolling retail environments and other facilities, reading situations, and acting to prevent risk.

The position is part-time, Saturdays and Sundays 2PM-9PM, with a wage of $17.00 per hour and dailyPay option for GardaWorld employees. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with employer matching, PTO, holidays, disability, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Florida Class D Security License required.
• Must pass a comprehensive screening process.
• First aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centres, etc.

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Must have Florida Class D Security License
• Must be able to walk for extended periods of time
