Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Joplin, Missouri. The role emphasizes reading environments, anticipating risk, and rapid response across varied settings such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

Key requirements include being 21+, eligible to work in the U.S., possessing a High School Diploma or GED, and successfully passing an extensive screening process. CPR/First Aid credentials are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 21 years of age
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Current/Valid CPR certification is preffered
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Must have 1 year of armed experience
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
