GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer for Baltimore, MD. The role requires keen observation, risk anticipation, and swift action across varied environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

Shifts include 3:00pm-11:00pm with 32–40 hours per week and 40-hour blocks on other schedules. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, retirement plan, PTO, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• 21 years of age or older
• Prior security experience
• Valid security license or ability to obtain one
• CPR is a plus

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Site Location: Baltimore, MD
• Set schedule:
• Full-Time
• Evening shift
• 3:00pm-11:00pm, Thursday to Sunday, 32 hours per week
• 3:00pm-11:00pm, Friday-Monday, 32 hours per week
• 1:00pm-9:00pm, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
• 5:00am-1:00pm, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a valid driver's license
• You have reliable transportation
• You are 21 years of age or older
• You have prior security experience.
• You have a valid security license and/or can obtain one.
• CPR is a plus!
