Physical mobility is essential as you will be patrolling all shift types, including mornings, evenings, and overnights. GardaWorld offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.50 and a comprehensive benefits package, plus uniform provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol outdoor environments and secure perimeters.

• Ensure safety and protection of people and property.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Set schedule:Open availability for scheduling required for weekdays and weekends. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and overnights. Days off and scheduling could vary based on site needs. This is a flex schedule. Not able to guarantee full time hours

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard:

• THIS IS AN OUTDOOR ONLY POST
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard:

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• You have 3+ years of Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience!
• You have a state license if required
• You have a DC Security Officer license
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• You have CPR/First Aid
• You have computer literacy and phone skills
• You are able to walk long distance
• You are able to write reports and have great customer service
• You are able to stand/walk outside with no booth
