Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Paul, ID seeks a Security Officer to patrol premises, monitor access, and respond to emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors. The role emphasizes vigilance, customer service, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clear driving record.
• Strong computer/technology skills and ability to use security systems.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
• Able to work independently with excellent customer service and remain calm under pressure.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Security Officer — Full Time

Site Location: Paul, ID

Wage: $17.33/HR

Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday 11pm-7am

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
