Job summary

Securitas, Inc. seeks a Full Time Security Officer at our Boise site to safeguard people and property. Wage is $17.06 per hour with a Friday–Tuesday overnight schedule (12am–8am).

You will patrol premises, monitor systems, control access, and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe, secure environment while ensuring safety protocols are followed by all on-site personnel.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid required (provided).
• Company pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.

• Conduct long patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify security risks.

Wage: $17.06/HR

Schedule: Friday - Tuesday 12am-8am

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• CPR/AED/First Aid required (provided).
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
