Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Battleboro, NC. You will provide excellent customer service, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and team members at a premier retail dining location.

This full-time, unarmed position offers a daytime schedule with multiple shifts and a pay rate of $16.29 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the restaurant, surrounding areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access or violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Communicate with management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the restaurant, surrounding retail areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe guest and employee activity to help support a welcoming environment and help deter unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
