Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Will undergo background check as required by law.

• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology/telecom location by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures; document entries and observations.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following emergency procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Communicate clearly with site contacts and leadership, reporting maintenance concerns or security issues.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, incidents, and observations accurately.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response activities and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and security‑related issues.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
