Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in De Soto, KS. The role focuses on monitoring, patrolling, and maintaining a secure, welcoming site for employees and visitors.

The position offers flexible shift options with a pay rate of $22.28 per hour. Responsibilities include customer service, incident response, and thorough reporting to support a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

• Thur: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM


• Fri: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
