Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Kenosha, WI. This is a Full Time position paying $19.00 per hour, with a minimum of 1 year security experience or prior law enforcement/military background.

You will provide customer service, conduct routine patrols, monitor access controls, and document observations while maintaining a professional presence to deter incidents. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports of security-related activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, facility hazards, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer in Kenosha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine rounds, assist with access control and badge-related activities, document observations using computer or tablet technology, and deliver professional customer service. What You'll Do

• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, facility hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
