Job Description

As a Security Officer Overnight Front Desk Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a retail and mall location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for visitors and tenants. You will support access control, monitor alarm panels and security-related systems, maintain accurate records, and communicate clearly with onsite personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing guests, tenants, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Monitor access to the retail and mall location by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate sign-in records.
• Follow site-specific procedures for visitor management, deliveries, lost-and-found items, and access requests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
