Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Guard card is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify access, maintain visitor records, and report concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow community procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of access activity, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established residential community procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of access activity, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
