The role requires 2+ years in security or related fields, an Armed Guard Card or license, and a background check with a drug screen. Schedule includes overnight shifts; pay is $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of residential areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear incident reports and patrol logs per site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, members, guests, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential neighborhoods, common areas, club facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activities, and observed conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of corrections, law enforcement, military experience, or degree in criminal justice.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
