Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Data Center Security Officer for the Hillsboro, OR area. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment. The shift runs Saturday through Wednesday from 12am to 8am, with wage listed at $23.50 per hour.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and strong computer/tech skills, with prior security and leadership experience preferred. Training and benefits are provided.

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior security and leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
