The Big Easy Casino in Florida is seeking a Security Officer. This role enforces Florida Gaming Commission standards and casino policies while ensuring guest safety and asset protection.

You will patrol gaming areas, complete checklists, and stand posts to maintain a visible security presence. Excellent verbal and written communication, emergency responsiveness, and flexibility for overnights, weekends, and holidays are required. Strong customer service helps create positive guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and an active Class D security license.
• At least 1 year of security experience preferred; state license eligibility may be required.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Patrols gaming areas and grounds to maintain security presence and report unusual situations.
• Completes required checklists and inspection of assets in facility.
• Provides customer service to ensure positive guest experiences.
• Stands post to ensure alertness in the casino; responds calmly to emergencies; other duties as assigned.
