Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a full-time Security Guard to protect people, property, and assets. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

No experience is necessary. The position offers multiple schedules, competitive hourly pay of $22, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for training and growth within our security team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Job description

Security Guard — Full Time

Site Location: Hillsboro, OR

Wage: $22.00/HR

Available Schedules

1) Thursday - Saturday 10pm-6am, Tuesday - Wednesday 11pm-7am

2) Saturday - Tuesday 10pm-6am

3) Friday 7am-3pm, Saturday - Sunday 6am-2pm, Monday 7am-3pm

No Experience Necessary

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
