DPI Security is seeking an on-call Security Officer to serve as a Facility Entrance Screener in the Astoria area. The role requires dependable, customer-service oriented individuals who can cover shifts during full-time officers’ absences.

Compensation is $21 per hour with potential benefits after 60 days for eligible employees. Responsibilities include site security coverage, reporting incidents, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1+ year of customer service or security experience.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a GED or High School Diploma.
• Must have or obtain Oregon DPSST Certification (training may be provided).
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.
• Strong writing and documentation abilities in English.

The ideal candidates will have great customer service skills, self -motivated and be able to show their reliability. This is an ON-CALL position your assistance will be needed during full-time officers’ absences , NO HOURS GUARANTEED . Serious enquires only!

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of customer service /security experience or equivalent professional experience.
• 18 years of age or older
• Must have a GED or High School Diploma
• Must have or be able to obtain Oregon State DPSST Certification (training available for suitable candidates)
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Working knowledge of basic math, English grammar, writing, and spelling for required documentation
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail

Preferences

• Current active DPSST card preferred, but all applicants will be considered
