Job summary

DPI Security in Eugene, Oregon is seeking on-call Security Officers. This role supports various client sites on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours.

You will perform security duties, report incidents, and maintain logs while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. DPSST certification is preferred; applicants aged 18+ with a GED or high school diploma are welcome to apply.

DPI Security is hiring on-call Security Officers in Eugene. We’re looking for candidates with strong customer service skills who are self-motivated and dependable.

Please note: This is an on-call position. Hours vary based on client needs and are not guaranteed.

Retired or seeking supplemental/part-time income?

Shift:Day,Swing, Graveyard.This is an ON-CALL position, no hours guaranteed.You will provide coverage for Security Officers during last-minute call-outs, scheduled absences, and other staffing needs as they arise.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing professional security services according to site Post Orders
• Observing and reporting unlawful or inappropriate activity
• Managing emergency situations and reporting as needed
• Maintaining accurate documentation of tours and incidents
• Ensuring customer satisfaction while working at DPI Security contract sites

What We’re Looking For:

• Oregon DPSST Certification (or ability to obtain – training available to qualified applicants!)
• 18 years or older
• GED or High School Diploma required
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Basic math, English, and writing skills for documentation
• Excellent customer service skills; a team player
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision

Preference given to people with current active DPSST card but will consider everyone who applies.
