Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Security Officer for the Protective Services Department at Baptist Nassau. This full-time night shift role (6:00 PM – 6:15 AM) supports patient, visitor, and staff safety by patrolling the medical center and monitoring properties.

Responsibilities include reporting unusual circumstances, escorting individuals, enforcing parking regulations, responding to unsafe situations, and helping with vehicle problems.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years law enforcement experience preferred.
• 1–2 years security officer experience preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• Associate or Science degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report unusual circumstances and take corrective actions.
• Protect individuals from harm by monitoring for safety hazards.
• Provide escort services as needed.
• Respond to unsafe situations.
• Enforce hospital parking regulations.
• Assist individuals with vehicle problems.
