Job summary

Baptist Health Nassau is seeking a Security Officer to join the Protective Services Department. The full-time night shift runs from 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM at the Nassau - Main Building, focusing on patient, visitor, and staff safety through patrols and monitoring of facilities.

Applicants should have 1-2 years of law enforcement or security experience preferred and a high school diploma required; an Associate or Science degree is preferred. Background screening will apply for positions of trust.

Baptist Health is looking to add a Security Officer to our Protective Services Department at ourBaptist Nassau location. This is a full-time, night shift opportunity position working from 6:00 PM - 6:15 AM.

The Security Officer's primary function is to assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are top priority this growing team is currently implementing new technologies such as metal detectors.

This Security Officer will be located at Baptist Nassau.
