Baptist Health in Downtown Jacksonville is seeking a Security Officer to join the Protective Services Department.
This full-time day shift runs 6:00 AM–6:15 PM with rotating weekdays and weekends, and duties include patrolling, monitoring, escorting, and responding to incidents.
The role supports patient safety and experience, with new technologies such as metal detectors, and requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and background screening.

The Security Officer’s primary function is to assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are top priority this growing team is currently implementing new technologies such as metal detectors.
This Security Officer will be located at Baptist Downtown.
