Baptist Health Beaches is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our Protective Services team on a PRN basis, providing 12-hour shift coverage at the Beaches location.

The role focuses on patient, visitor and employee safety through patrols, escorting, responding to unsafe situations, enforcing parking regulations, and supporting emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of law enforcement experience required.
• High School Diploma required; Associate or Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor hospital properties to ensure safety.
• Provide escort services for patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
• Respond to unsafe situations and incidents, coordinating with security and hospital staff.
• Enforce hospital parking regulations and assist individuals with vehicle issues.
• Report unusual circumstances and take corrective actions to protect people on site.
