Job summary

Allied Universal in Marion, IN is seeking a Security Officer Patrol (Unarmed) to join our team. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide professional customer service while upholding site policies.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and will involve responding to incidents with calm, procedural safety. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the location, including exterior areas, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate to site management or leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge processes. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas and perimeter, to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
