Job summary

Allied Universal in Lebanon, Indiana, is seeking a Security Officer Driver Perimeter Patrol to protect clients across multiple industries at an automotive location. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver excellent customer service while following site policies and procedures.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $20.60 per hour and a daytime shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal/state/local laws.
• Background histories considered in line with laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at an automotive business location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive facility buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, service areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
