Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
