Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver to be stationed in Point Pleasant, WV. You will provide security, conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence, and assist with access verification at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

A valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience is required. This full-time position offers a pay rate of $16.50 per hour and a schedule including daytime and evening shifts, with weekends as listed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required for driving positions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, equipment areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.


• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery verification in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.


• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining awareness of changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
