As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Summit Point, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Pre-Employment Requirements:

• 21+ Years of Age
• 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
• Armed DCJS or Equivalent Firearms Certification is REQUIRED to qualify for this position
• Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience

Pay Rate: $21.52 / Hour

Tues 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Wed 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, while documenting observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with company policies, licensing requirements, and site-specific instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
