Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Rochester, NY. This full-time, on-site role involves patrolling facilities, providing customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence at an aerospace/defense location.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and experience in security or customer service is preferred. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with paid hourly rate. Training and benefits are provided.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, access-control concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
