Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
