Job summary

Allied Universal in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Asset Protection to safeguard government facilities and deter incidents. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff.

This full-time role offers a 3:30 PM–11:30 PM schedule Monday through Sunday, with a pay rate of $21.49 per hour. Applicants must be 18+ (21+ for armed positions), have a high school diploma, pass background checks and drug screening,

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government facility while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agency contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate offices or services.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activity, incidents, observations, and interactions in accordance with site procedures.
