Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal/state/local laws.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with laws.
• Must be able to pass drug screening where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately.
• Help maintain a professional presence at the location while communicating clearly with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
